Farah AF2 Bakal Berkahwin?
Farah AF2 has always been the-girl next-door that guys just dream about. Ever since her breakthrough on the local entertainment scene in the popular reality show Akademi Fantasia season two some years ago – Farah AF2 has maintained her clean, sweet image.
That’s good for her career since she is also a favourite face for product endorsements.
Despite her young age, the singer knows how to keep her personal life under wraps. This is evident in her secretive attitude with the media every time questions on her personal life dominate the topic.
Except for some speculation on her romantic link with popular singer, Adam some years ago, it is rare to find Farah’s name linked to another guy.
However, when met recently, the 24-year old singer appeared to have changed and seemed a bit more open with members of the media.
Asked whether this had anything to do with gossip that she was seeing someone, Farah AF2 smiled and said,: “Yes, I am having tea with someone. “Actually, we have known each other for years and have been good friends.
“Both of us realise that we have something in common that can lead our relationship somewhere,” said the singer, who was hesitant to comment initially.
“It’s not that I’m being secretive but I don’t feel comfortable talking about this, since I’m a girl. I think I’m a conventional type, who prefers the guy to do the talking instead of me bragging about it,” she said.
Asked to divulge more details of the lucky guy, Farah said he was just a normal guy and not related to the entertainment scene.
“He has no problem accepting me for who I am since we’ve known each other for some time. What I like most about him is that he has no problems mixing with my family members, especially my father,” said Farah AF2 .
“I am very close with my father and he knows every single thing about me. He knows that I need to get his blessings and approval before I can even think of going into a serious relationship with anyone.”
Since her parents have approved their relationship, Farah AF2 was asked whether wedding bells were near.
“Not anytime soon. Both of us are still trying to get to know each other better. I haven’t given that much thought, so let’s just wait and see. I will go with the flow and hope for the best,” said Farah AF2, who is also the host of Astro Oasis’ Rasa Halal Oriental (RHO).
Farah said she had just returned from Cambodia, to shoot the new season of RHO.
“I am glad that Astro is still giving me the opportunity to host the programme again. I learned a lot through RHO, especially the different ways of life of Muslims in other countries,” she said.
Farah AF2 is also looking forward to a contract settlement between herself and Astro Entertainment Sdn Bhd (AESB) after her previous management company, Maestro, shut down, a few months ago.
“Discussions are still on-going between AESB and me. Personally, I hope this matter can be sorted out as soon as possible as it affects my career. I just released my new album right before Maestro was closed. Promotion work for the album has been postponed. There’s nothing I can do since my contract status is still unknown.
“I was told that AESB would be taking over artistes signed by Maestro and as far as I know, some of them have signed under AESB. I am still awaiting for clarification on my status and whatever the result may be, I hope it will be a win-win situation for both parties,” said Farah AF2.
