Misteri Gambar Hantu di Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL24)
OVER the past week or so, after the 24th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL24) ended, one story emerged from the event that blazed the web. In the blog of yours truly, photos were posted, then picked up by forums, websites, blogs and much more, apart from being distributed via email.
The photos depict a figure or an ‘entity’ perched precariously atop the rafters of the stadium.
While no explanation has been offered, a stubborn few insist it’s one of Faizal Tahir’s dancers who were ready to be lowered down by harnesses.
The all-white enshrouded figure was spotted by media members during the performance of the second last contesting song for the night by Aizat with Kau Aku, before Faizal came on for Bencinta.
Eyewitnesses at that point thought it was Faizal’s dancer as they knew two would be lowered by harnesses.
Still, upon closer inspection of blurry pictures taken, the figure looks like it has long hair and its body entirely wrapped in white fabric with something in its arms. Photo scam? Not quite, when five people in the media seat (including yours truly) bearing witness to the ‘figure’ later noted that the figure’s position was perched too high, and too far ahead of the spot where the dancers were to have been lowered.
No one has come forward to explain the incident. However a ghostly twist began when one of the ‘witnesses’ was playing Aizat’s Pergi in public and an elderly Indian couple told him that the classical Indian styled vocalization was a mantra to woo the undead. Or something like that.
Aizat however has denied so, saying that former Vaanavil Talent Quest winner Alinda Alphonse had said she was merely singing one of her own musings.
Expect no answers from anyone on how true the sighting was as no concrete proof will determine the incident as real or otherwise
