Marion Rose Caunter (born November 5, 1980 in Penang, Malaysia, of Portuguese-English-Chinese descent) is a VJ at Channel [V], and is under the management of The 8 Unit. Currently she is the host of Popparazzi, the channel’s pop culture entertainment program.

She been gossiping with new Naza executive chairman, S.M. Nasarudin S.M. Nasimuddin. What a lucky chick! Currently she’s the host for Channel [V] Popparazzi. Ain’t she so hot? I bet you would say yes. Haha!

At 19, Marion Caunter attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA), graduating with a degree in broadcasting and electronic communications. Her career in the broadcasting industry began as a reporter for Milwaukee’s WB 18 Channel, where Marion Caunter covered stories regarding the local youth community. Marion Caunter also joined KIIS-FM, one of whose staff members include Rick Dees, working in the advertising department.

Upon returning to Malaysia, Marion Caunter became known for being the host of The 8TV Quickie, a daily 15-minute talk show on 8TV. Apart from being a TV presenter, she was also 8TV’s urban content executive in charge of pre- and post-production of the stations in-house shows, Latte at 8 and Flava. She also became as hosts One in a Million, 8TV’s reality singing contest despite having joined Channel [V] on November 20, 2006.
